Posted by OS Tricks Blog

Apple has released the fourth beta version of OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 for users participating in the beta testing programs. The new version build arrives as 15C47a and is available now both as a public beta and as a developer beta build.

OS X 10.11.2 appears to focus primarily on under the hood improvements with bug fixes and refinements, with an emphasis on graphics, Mail, wi-fi, Calendar, USB, Notes, Photos, and Spotlight.

Mac users who are running a prior version of OS X 10.11.2 beta can find the latest builds available to download now from the Software Update mechanism through the Mac App Store. Developers can also initiate the download from the Apple Developer Center for OS X. Installing requires a reboot as usual.

There is no known timeline for OS X 10.11.2 to be available to the general public, but typically Apple will run through multiple beta builds before releasing a final version. The most recent final version of OS X El Capitan available is currently OS X 10.11.1.
